Jesus said one reason God did not make anything on the seventh day was so that people could copy Him and have a day to take it easy and reflect. God wanted people to take one in seven days to stop working or chopping wood to make fires, actually. More about that after the Exodus from Egypt and the Ten Commandments in the next Bible book....
